Let's prove the Bible is true and we are nearing the end of the last generation before Christ returns.
1. The Jewish people would be scattered worldwide; yet Israel would become a nation again after a long time and at a time the Bible calls the "latter days"-ref Isa 66:8; Mic 5:3; Ezek 38:8. Against what appeared to be impossible odds, this prophecy has been fulfilled. It happened as predicted on May 14, 1948 after about 2500 years. That’s 1 out of 1. Note: Israel was destroyed in approximately 721 B.C. and Judah about 135 years later. Since that time, approximately fourteen different peoples have possessed the land of Israel. Yet as the Bible said, the nation of Israel would be reborn. The rebirth of Israel was a key sign, indicating we had entered a time period called the "latter days." It was the beginning of a countdown leading to the Tribulation and culminating with the Battle of Armageddon and the return of Jesus. Along with the fulfillment of this crucial event are over 360 prophecies that would all come together, so we might recognize that the Tribulation is very close at hand. Some of these are listed here. Yet the Bible foretells that most people would not believe these things, despite the overwhelming evidence of the signs from God’s Word being fulfilled exactly as predicted. As people refused to believe the flood was coming in Noah’s time, so people today willingly choose to disregard the signs of the times.
2. Israel shall be brought forth in one day, at once-ref Isa 66:8. Prophecy fulfilled-May 14, 1948. That’s 2 out of 2. Note: On Nov. 29, 1947, the General Assembly of the U.N. approved a resolution calling for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. On the morning of May 14, 1948 (the last day of the British mandate), a meeting of the People’s Council took place in Israel to decide on the name of the state and to finalize the declaration. At precisely 4 pm, the proclamation ceremony began at the Tel Aviv museum. The 979 Hebrew words of the Scroll of Independence were read. All stood, and the scroll was adopted. The notorious White Paper, issued by the British in 1930 restricting Jewish immigration, was declared null and void. Members of the People’s Council signed the proclamation. David Ben-Gurion rapped his gavel, declaring, "The State of Israel is established. This meeting is ended." Israel was brought forth as a nation in one day, at once, exactly as predicted. At midnight, the British soldiers and high commissioner would leave. President Truman was swift in announcing U.S. recognition of Israel. The following morning, on May 15, Israel was under attack by the Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese, Jordanian, and Iraqi forces.
3. Israel would be brought forth (or reborn) "out of the nations"-Ezek 38:8. Prophecy fulfilled-May 14, 1948. That’s 3 out of 3. Note: As previously stated, on Nov. 29, 1947, the General Assembly of the "United Nations" approved a resolution calling for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. This prophecy was perfectly fulfilled. Consider, for centuries the land of Israel had been occupied by many nations. Israel was "brought forth out of the nations"—the children of Israel from many nations have been returning to their ancient homeland.
4. Israel must regain the city of Jerusalem-Joel 2:32; Isa 28:14; Ezek 22:19. This happened just as predicted in 1967. That’s 4 out of 4. Note: The Bible gives us two methods so we would know the time we are in. One is by Israel’s rebirth. The other, by a precise line of events that would all come together at one time. Israel was reborn on May 14th, 1948. The Bible indicates that from Israel’s rebirth a generation would not pass till all be fulfilled. We are not setting any date; however, it seems clear from Israel’s rebirth and the signs of the times— that we are living in the generation in which the Rapture and Tribulation will come and catch most people by surprise. Are you ready?
5. The Christian church at the time of the end would be lukewarm, neither cold nor hot for Jesus. Prophecy fulfilled. That’s 5 out of 5. Note: God will spew them out. Many ministers and people that call themselves a Christian will not be going to heaven. The Bible tells us—you have acquired wealth, but your true condition is wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked and you don’t know it-Rev 3:14-22. This is today’s church. Most preachers use little Scripture, but lots of worldly stories. Many sing a great deal, but put little emphasis on repentance, obeying, serving, and fearing God, on the fruits of the Spirit, Bible prophecy, water baptism by immersion, and studying your Bible faithfully every day. Many are only entertainment centers that teach what their members want to hear. Many (so-called Christians) are so lukewarm or dead, they don’t even bring their Bibles with them to the house of God. Some famous ministers and Bible schools think this is the best church age ever, yet the Bible clearly shows it is the worst and most deceived.

The Bible gives us over 50 descriptions about the people at the time of the end. These fit thepeople of today perfectly, but did not fit the people of fifty years ago. Here are some:

A.
Some would depart from the faith and go into devil worship-1 Tim 4:1. This is perfect.

B.
People would mock about the last days and not believe-2 Pe 3:3; Jude 18.

C.
People would become lovers of themselves-2 Tim 3:1,2. Remember the TV commercials—"I do it for me"?

D.
People would be disobeying their parents-2 Tim 3:1,2.

E.
People would be grateful for nothing-2 Tim 3:1,2.

F.
Homosexuality would increase-Lk 17:28,30; ref Gen 19:5; Ro 1:24,26,27.

G.
People would be without self-control in sex-2 Tim 3:1,2,6; Rev 9:21, Lk 17:28,30; Jude 7. Is this not the great sex generation?

H.
People would love pleasures more than God-2 Tim 3:1,2,4. This is true. Shall we go on a picnic, watch football, or sleep. Church?—we can go another time. Our American motto "In God we trust" has become a joke. Remember, these were all predicted centuries ago as part of the signs that we are at the time of the end.

I.
People would be taking drugs-Rev 9:21. The Greek word for sorceries, in Rev 9:21, means pharmaceuticals or drugs. God’s Word is 100% right on every one. That’s 6 out of 6. How could you have any doubts at this point? Note: Fifty years ago, many people seldom locked their doors at night. There was little or no profanity on television, radio, or in the movies. One of the biggest problems in public school was gum chewing. Those days are long gone.
7. There would be weapons that could destroy the world-Mk 13:20; Rev 6:8; Rev 9:18; Zech 14:8,12. Incredibly, this prophecy was written in the days of spears and arrows, yet today it is true. That’s 7 out of 7. Note: It is estimated that the combined nuclear arsenals of the USA and Russia (as of the year 2004) could kill every living thing on earth 6 times over.
8. The Gospel must be published in all the world-Mk 13:10. This seemingly impossible prophecy was written when there was no printing press, but today it is true. That's 8 out of 8. Note: In this last generation, to our knowledge, the Gospel is being published (or is about to be published) in the primary language of every nation of the world or "among all nations." In addition, the Gospel is available by short-wave radio nearly everywhere in the world.
9. In the "latter days" when Israel was once again a nation, there would be a great military power to the extreme north of Israel in the land of Magog (which is modern-day Russia)-Ezek 38:2-4,8,15,16. Incredible. That’s 9 out of 9. Note: How could the Bible have foretold the location of this nation, facts about its military, and even the time period it would come to pass? As was already said in Lk 24:25-O FOOLS, AND SLOW OF HEART TO BELIEVE ALL THAT THE PROPHETS HAVE SPOKEN. 10. There would be a nation to the far east of Israel, to the end of the earth. This nation would have an army of 200 million. This is astounding. How could the Bible have told the location of a nation and given such a huge figure regarding the size of its army nearly 2000 years ago? China has boasted that they could field an army of this exact figure. That’s 10 out of 10.
11. There would be an economic alliance of the nations of the Old Roman Empire. It would have a military capability. This is an exact description of the European Economic Community today (the EEC), which has already adopted the one-currency system for many of their member nations. It is written, IN THE DAYS OF THESE KINGS (these nations, which is now) SHALL THE GOD OF HEAVEN SET UP A KINGDOM-Dan 2:44. That’s 11 out of 11. We have just reached the point that seemed impossible—11 perfect predictions made thousands of years ago—with God nothing is impossible. Certainly, at this point, even the biggest skeptic should see the Bible is true, there is a God, and we are nearing the time of the end.
About 22 prophecies in 11 sets have been given, all perfect and all written centuries ago. The chance that any person could do this 2000 years into the future is not possible. i shall not hesitate anymore. the previous uncertainty that I had about me not being able to make it had already been vanquished. Christians are NEVER losers. We have such a mighty power supporting us all the way. Why should we even be scared. God has already given me the green light to do what I've always wanted to do but only when after I really said to Him this," Oh God I will really trust you and by that i mean that whatever u wan me to do, i'll do it because I know that whatever plans you've laid out for me, it is the best plans. Only you can give ppl the exact formula for success and even though i don't know where this is going to lead me to, I will follow u like Ahbram does. What comes after is really murky.. I don't even have an inkling on what lies ahead.. but God, I WILL FOLLOW YOU beacause I know that all things happen for some kind of reason. there's no coincidences. Thank you God for letting me know you for I would still be lost like a wasted float in the open sea if you haven't picked me up. For that, I'll commit my life to you. You want me to go right I'll go right. the future is indeed uncertain but at least I'll be sure that you would guide me all the way."

Don't make it the greatest regret of your life when Jesus appears in front of you. Throughout the lives of all ppl, God has given hints and planted clues. You ave heard of God's loving grace and the dieing og Jesus Christ for our sins but you choose instead to ignore all these and stick to your own beliefs. Without God as the holy guidance, ppl will never tell right from wrong. They are the kings of themselves, manifestingimmorality within themselves, ignoring the gospel and the truth. God has tried to reach out to them but have they believed in Him even once? Instead they continue to worship their idols, whether in the forms of statues, wealth, studies or fame in the eyes of humans. There is no such thing as God not choosing to speak to you at all. It has always been the latter who chooses to close his eyes and shut his ears, choosing to disbelief in Him the one and true GOD. When the time comes, they whine, then beg and groan.

"But you can't put me straight to Hell! You didn't even give me a damn chance in life to know you! No, you can't do that at all! I refuse to go to that terrible place. I want to have eternal life! Oh, please take me with you, please..."

By then, it sure is too late to cry.

Even though the papers, the media, most of the ppl say that Zidane is such a madman to pull out that violent stunt to end of his carreer witha shameful red card, i still like him very much. He's such a soccer genius even though he has his own weird ways. I hate to see him just go off the pitch like that with his head bowed down and his captain armband pulled off dejectedly. Also when Buffon blocked his goal that could scrap a win for France in the end, his reaction to it is sooo heartbreaking. argh. when you see someone who is still going strong even at his current age of 34 and who tries so hard to win the worldcup for his team so disappointed and frustrated beyond words, ur heart would also go out to that guy. yes he's so violent he got sent off the pitch in more than 10 times but u can't deny the soccer talent in him. he really is such a genius, he can use his head to score goals and also his leg without the ball touching the ground at all. i really hate to see him so dejected and i think his violent ways are being justified by all the deliberate provocations that he had received from narrow-minded footballers. also all minds of soccer geniuses work in strange ways. u could never know what they might be thinking. italy could even have purposefully staged that conversation to make Zidane fall gor the trick! haha.. well, much as i like zidane, i can't ignore the fact that Italy had such a strong defence. and to top it off they have the best goalie in the world, Buffon and to prove that he was even clad in golden colours from head to toe. lol. also when facing a very strong and shrewd goalie, the France players handling the penalty shoot-ins couldn't help feeling nervous. When one of them had successfully sent the ball into the net pass buffon's hands, his face is one of relief and not of joy. that goes to show how much pressure they were facing.. in front of buffon and the thousand-strong spectators plus ppl from all around the world. oh and one thing that i must not forget to add. i think that the italy captain, fabio, is so shuai!! haha..but his jersey seems to be a bit on the small side, making him look a bit weird. but so what? he got al those muscles to show off! oh and the jeckandjill potato chips thing rite.. I GOT ITALY ytd! i bought 3 packets and out popped italy when i opened the second one. actually i want France initially but heck. I GOT ITALY, the champion! bwahahaha.....

had an excellent cell section ytd. so satisfying. last time i used to hate going to cell, i thought that my officer was forcing me to go. actually i dsliked it at the beginning because of the venue. me and ro had to travel by the mrt all the way to bukit merah. at that time, i thought that bukit merah from clementi was quite far. I was thinking for quite some weeks each time i was expected to go," so far.. still need to take train.. and anyway almost everyone i knew are not christians. they dun even know what is 'cell'.. then i seemed to be so extra when i had to go to that %^&#$@ cell when my frens are having fun or going home to relax.. i still need to be out for a few hours.. so tired.. after a day of studying still need to do this kind of thing.. haiz.. " really. this was really my opinion of cell at first. i soooo hated it. also i hated it even further when other ppl asked me what is 'cell', is it the bio thing or wat. then at that point i really felt as though i was a freak. im so extra. only me doing this kind of thing. i felt so misunderstood and also a bit embarassed to say , "oh, it's a gathering to share about God" then in my mind, i will think about what the other party is thinking in her mind. it will most probably be like this,"gathering? god? get a life! i want nothing to do with this kind of religious freak!"

it was only until a few sessions of cell that i really got to know about God better. I learnt that we should not be ashamed to announce that we are the children of God and that also we should not be ashamed in the Gospel. if like for instance our close frens doubted about the genuinity of what was being said in the bible, we should not allow our hearts to waver and like our frens, have doubts in the word of God. and then because of our frens' suspicions and doubts, we feel ashamed to have shared something that sound so unbelievable to someone whose opinion u value. when u feel ashamed about the gospel, u would also feel ashamed and embarassed to be God's child. God is the creator of everything (just take a look around),how can u feel ashamed to admit about ur relationship with Him? instead of telling unbelievers this," ya, I'm a Christian and a child of God..but i dun always believe in what He says in the Bible.. i think onmy own too an dun always take every word as the truth.." and trying to hint that we are not one of those 'fools' who follow blind faith and who are so religious to the point that they go to do this boliao thing of seeking the desperate measure of worshipping something so invisible and so fake when they dun even have haunting childhoods and deep troubles like so obviously the Christians have, otherwise y are they so 'on' onto that kind of 'Oh God i love u stuff''.

anyway, back to what i was saying earlier and that is my cell meeting. i slowly began to like cell more and more. instead of dreading the moment to go, i anticipate the strong presence of God and the chance to hear my officer share abouot something enlightening. when i wrote the word 'enlightening', i really meant it. before i went to this single cell meeting, i was like an ignorant fool, blind to the things that i've never thought of and noticed before. during the sharing section, i would be like an egg being cracked open by someone who had never cracked any eggs before, an eggie amatuer. the cracks are beginning to form but because of the way the shell refused to budge under the constant knocking of the inexperienced wrist and arm movements, they spread over a larger area. then slowly the finale comes and out pops the egg contents with a spew. kai qiao le! that is when would be like open-mouthed, with all the drool dripping all over my chin and onto my clothes but with my brain finally being able to percceive some kind of insightful knowledge ( that is not applicable to our exams and our resumes for finding jobs but would serve a much more important purpose of leading me to an eternal blissful life with God. trust me, results aren't everything (not that i am saying this out of spite that i always seemed to get the lan lan results among my super brainy classmates), u can't bring ur excellent, perfect, flying kind of beautiful colourful results and achievements to heaven or hell after u die, nor could u bringur prized handphone, ipod, branded nike adidas puma and watever goods with u. what really remains true to ur spirit and true to ur person as a whole is your relationaship with God. for instance, u teach someone a particularly difficult a.maths question. u feel so satisfied after watching that someone understand with that relieved look plasted onto his face. but can this knowledge of mathematics (or other knowledge of science, great literature works, art skills, debating skills blabla) last for eternity? what that really lasts for eternity is this: the glorification of God. (oh wait wait wait, dun accuse me first of starting on the rerligious things again. hey im at least 15 yrs of age k? i could tell what's true, what's false and what's right, what's wrong. not being brainwashed u may think i am. in fact, im as sane as any sane professor on earth- for mars i dunno haha just joking.. anw.. for me to be so enthu about Christianity must say about sth rite? and that is that Christianity is the 'religion' that makes the most sense out of so many philosophies. ok, back on track. when i share about God to someone else, let's say he or she receives Christ. this receiving of Jesus into your heart and letting God be the King of your lives instead and not to succumb to the triump of Satan and his slaves and the sins that they invent is something that wil lasts for eternity. it will stay on for dunno hw many trillions of years to come. it will never change. it will remain the same. Same as God's faithfulness and His love towards us. Long ago, the physicists realised that it is actually electrons that move from the negative terminal to the positive terminal but not the positive ions that move from the positive terminals to the negative terminal as they believed so long ago. they trust this piece of info. thinking that what they had discovered and investigated is the ultimate truth that is to change the face of the physics world for generations to come. however they were wrong! All humans can never be sure about something they find. who knows? maybe even F=ma could be wrong the next day. we could never know! What we could really be sure is God. he is a constant. He is the only thing in this entire universe of existence that would never ever change. He is still the same now as before. as 2000 yrs ago. isn't that cool? he died for us at that time, and should we become so sinful He would choose to die for us again in a heartbeat. When u're feeling so down and low because of some kind of upsetting incident, just remember the Lord's love. Remember how he went through and endured all that sick torture just for the sake of us. for us to be cleansed, free and protected by the power of His blood.

GOD LOVES YOU. JESUS STANDS AT THE DOOR OF YOUR HEART, KNOCKING. IF YOU WILL OPEN THE DOOR, HE WILL COME IN. France is definitely the team that I wan to support. Haha. quite ironic cos' i am so upset that Brazil has lost. But what I really like baout France is their attitude. They have great faith, really, and faith in this context has nothing got to do with God. They were so ostracised by others who say that they can't make it since on the last world cup, they got eliminated so soon, only in the group stage then they lost so tragically. but the coach of the france team was so unwavering in his belief that his team will make a comeback. And zidane sure didn't let his coach down. He's still going strong at the age that most other ppl will already have been past their prime. And it sure is difficult to maintain this belief and faith that they will show the world otherwise the sterner stuff that they are made of. I love them for their attitude but honestly i dunno if they are good in terms of their footballer skills. but still I really want to see them win. I believe that God rewards those who wait sincerely for something good to happen. France has gone home in shame four years back, it is time they get the reconigtion that deserved. Way to go, France. although i know who the players are but they dunno who am i, i still am going to root for them. i love their attitude. and i'm sure going to learn from them. 4 yrs and they are coming back. go France. They may not be the 2006 champ but their spirit, their belief, that is going to live forever in the hearts of people. And also the green forest my home, i really think that it is the stupidest show on earth. i can't bring myself to watch it today. it will corrupt my mind instead. even though ruan jing tian very shuai but still!!~~~ argh. the plot is so stupid and lame. in all my life, this is the best place in which i have used the word 'lame' most aptly. i'm not exaggerating, really! the director should be sacked! the scripts written the dunno who person should be cross-examined and double-checked over the next time should someone want to cast it into a show. also. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH ALONSO???????????????????????????? i'm so used to him taking up pole position and finishing first in so many grand prix that this time, i'm actually quite bewildered at his performance. Oh come on ALONSO!!! ha, should stop here, really anxious to read the news on his explanation for his lack of performance.
