Even though the papers, the media, most of the ppl say that Zidane is such a madman to pull out that violent stunt to end of his carreer witha shameful red card, i still like him very much. He's such a soccer genius even though he has his own weird ways. I hate to see him just go off the pitch like that with his head bowed down and his captain armband pulled off dejectedly. Also when Buffon blocked his goal that could scrap a win for France in the end, his reaction to it is sooo heartbreaking. argh. when you see someone who is still going strong even at his current age of 34 and who tries so hard to win the worldcup for his team so disappointed and frustrated beyond words, ur heart would also go out to that guy. yes he's so violent he got sent off the pitch in more than 10 times but u can't deny the soccer talent in him. he really is such a genius, he can use his head to score goals and also his leg without the ball touching the ground at all. i really hate to see him so dejected and i think his violent ways are being justified by all the deliberate provocations that he had received from narrow-minded footballers. also all minds of soccer geniuses work in strange ways. u could never know what they might be thinking. italy could even have purposefully staged that conversation to make Zidane fall gor the trick! haha.. well, much as i like zidane, i can't ignore the fact that Italy had such a strong defence. and to top it off they have the best goalie in the world, Buffon and to prove that he was even clad in golden colours from head to toe. lol. also when facing a very strong and shrewd goalie, the France players handling the penalty shoot-ins couldn't help feeling nervous. When one of them had successfully sent the ball into the net pass buffon's hands, his face is one of relief and not of joy. that goes to show how much pressure they were facing.. in front of buffon and the thousand-strong spectators plus ppl from all around the world. oh and one thing that i must not forget to add. i think that the italy captain, fabio, is so shuai!! haha..but his jersey seems to be a bit on the small side, making him look a bit weird. but so what? he got al those muscles to show off! oh and the jeckandjill potato chips thing rite.. I GOT ITALY ytd! i bought 3 packets and out popped italy when i opened the second one. actually i want France initially but heck. I GOT ITALY, the champion! bwahahaha.....
