Peter Pettigrew
An animagus that can turn into a rat, Peter is sure one sly person. He avoided his punishment in Azkaban and caused Sirius to suffer instead. Always being a coward, he tried to seek protection by becoming a death eater under Voldemort.

When Peter, Lupin, Sirius and James had still been in school, they were always running around together, especially during the fifteeth day of each month. Peter was the dimmest of the quad and when becoming an animagus for the sake of Lupin, Peter had the most trouble. However James and Sirius helped him.

Peter literally worshipped James because of his talent on the Quidditch field. And James always loved the attention. That is probably why Snape called James an airhead, because his head had gotten so big after all the compliments.

Peter, in order not to incur the wrath of Voldemort, gave him one arm for one of the ingredients to make Voldemort a new physical body. That secured his posotion as one of Voldemort's most loyal servants. In replacement for his arm, he was granted a new one, made from magic and is silvery in colour.

And now, in the Prince, Peter is living in Snape's house, under the orders of Voldemort, to assist Snape. However, seeing Snape's long-living hatred for the bunch of people who once ago had bullied him, Peter is not likely to have an easy life. That could be seen when Snape ordered him to bring him drinks. Well, after all, Peter deserved this humiliation from Snape, who asked him to escape imprisonment in the first place?

Neville's Biodata
Say Neville and a person would conjure up an image of a short and plump boy always holding a toad. And yes, he would lose his toad more times than he could keep count of.

Neville became more significant as the years go by. In the Prisoner, Neville returned Snape's nasty favours to him by turning a Bogget into a Snape wearing Neville's grandmother's signature feather hat and carrying a large red handbag. Needless to say, Snape was less tolerant of Neville in Potions class when word of the hilarious Defence Arts class got around.

In the Phoenix, when the chapter is about to close, Dumbledore revealed to Harry that he might not have been the "chosen one". In fact, if Voldemort had not marked Harry as his equal, Neville might have been in Harry's shoes. That got Harry looking at Neville more closely than he had ever before.

Also in the Phoenix, in the DA lessons, Neville, in a feverish attempt to learn skills to revenge his parents, did pretty well for a slow learner. Harry, too, was proud of Neville's achievements.

And oh, one last thing that many of us overlooked. In the Sorcerer, without Neville's Mimbulous Mimbutonia (wrong spelling..), Malfoy would never have stolen it, Harry would never have got on his brrom to get it back, Professor Mcgonagall would never have witnessed Harry's potential in flying and last of all, Harry would never have become the youngest seeker in a century.

Neville is a really sad boy with a painful history. His talented parents, who are former members of the Order, were driven to madness by Bellatrix. Both his parents are now staying permanently in St. Mungo. One scene that touched my heart was when Neville's mother gave him the sweet wrapper and Neville had looked defiantly at Harry and his friends, daring them to laugh. And when Neville's grandmother told him to throw the sweet wrapper away, Neville, instead, pocketted it. AWW.. that is so touching.. *sob*...

I hope to see more Neville in action and lastly i want to give Bellatrix a damn good curse," #@*$@#@%!!!" Hope either Harry or Neville trounces her in the 7th book!

Snape's biodata
OK. A bad character like Snape doesn't deserve a biodata to be written by me. But he is really an interesting person and i would also like to expose the nasty things he did too.

Snape-or snivellus, as James potter and his friends call him- is really a fox in disguise. From the 1st HP book to the 5th, he has always been portrayed by Rowling as a good character. Ok, so he does have some misgivings during his angelic act but that is quickly covered up by (who else is so trusting?) Dumbledore. Always, whenever people like Harry raise their doubts about Snape with Dumbledore, he is quick to offer a reasonably good explanation.

Like in the 6th book, Harry found out by accident from Professor Trelawny that it was actually Snape snooping behind the door during Dumbledore's secret discussion with Trelawny. It was Snape, and not Peter Pettigrew that had betryed the Potters by tellng their whereabouts to Voldemort. Any ordinary person would see that Snape, who obviously hated James to the core, would not easily turn into a good guy after doing such an unforgivable act. However, we are talking about Dumbledore here, who by no means, is an ordinary person. In fact, he is the greatest possible wizard on earth. Dumbledore offered the explanation to Harry that Snape has since been mending his ways and that on that particular night, Snape has been carrying out orders from voldemort for the last time. He even said that Snape has come to apologize to him, saying that he is really sorry, basically offering a whole load of crap that good trusting, forgiving Dumbledore would easily believe.

At this point in the story, any fool could see that Dumbledore was really "besotted" by Snape and his lies. Snape has no chance to turn over a new leaf at all. Even God could not help him. He is rotten, thoroughly rotten, from inside his blackenedn heart.

Ok, i am being a little bias here. A person is what his environments make out. In the Phoenix, we see a glimpse of Snape's past during Harry's lesson of Occlumency. Harry had successfully defended himself against Sanpe's attacks on his mind and instead of his own flashbacks, he was entering into a childhood memory of Snape.

In the flashback, Snape, who was a scrawny little kid then, was cowering in a dark corner, watching his parents fight. That indeed was not a pleasant memory. Even Harry must admit that he could not believe he hated that poor little kid when he grew up. Also, Snape was always being bullied by James and Sirius during his teenage years at Hogwarts. In fact, he had no friends at all! That was not unexpectable as Snape was just " this oddball who has his mind on the Dark Arts" . I quoted that from Lupin.

Under this extreme conditions, couple with his desire to learn the Dark Arts, it was no surprise that Snape became a Death Eater.

It was also very ironic that after Snape was given the post of the Defence against the Dark Arts teacher after 5 long years of appeal, he committed murder. And not just on any Tom or Dick, Snape killed DUmbledore. From this, we can clearly see that Snape was immensely loyal to voldemort. Not even Dumbledore could win him over with his unfaltering trust. Now that is what made me really mad. Dumbledore trusted Snape with all his heart, even having to fend off accusations of Snape singlehandedly but look what that bastard did!

Snape, being an accomplished Occlumens, could lie without batting an eyelid. Clearly he used that to hoodwink Dumbledore.

More insults on Snape...
In the Phoenix, James and Sirius taunted Snape (do not feel any pitiance towards him!!) One of them said that during the exam that were having before, Snape had his oily nose nearly touching the parchment while he was writing. " Blots of oil will be on the parchment, the teacher can't read them!" When Snape sain that he would get James back for bullying him, James said smartly," What are you going to do? Wipe your nose on us?" OMG, that is sooo funny... ROFL.. (roll over the floor laughing)

Hermoine's Biodata
Hermione is Rowling'favourite character, and also columbus's (director of harry's first 2 movies). She is extremely smart, and can usually memorise the contents of the books she is studying. However she is not as talented as Harry in the art of flying.

In the Goblet, Hermione suffered a tooth-growing hex from the pansy parkinson. That is a blessing in disguise. When Hermione received treatment from madam pomfrey to shorten her length of front teeth,(It is already quite beaver-like before the accident) she sort of wait till the length has gone shorter than before, thus solving her teeth problem.

During lessons, Hermione will fight for the answering rights whenever the teacher asks a question. When the teacher, usually snape, ignores her frantically waving hand, she will get even more agitated and when she eventually answers, she will say out her answer in one whole breath.

Hermione is a very talented and smart student even though she is muggle-born. Even Snape has nothing to criticise her about when it comes to her work. She will normally write 2 rolls of parchments more than the teacher asks for.

Ginny's biodata
Ginny first played a prominent in the chamber of secrets, in which she was being controlled by Voldemort's sixteen year old soul through the means of an ordinary diary. Ginny had a mane of bright red bushy hair and very often in the Prince, Harry usually smelled a "flowery smell" before seeing her.

Ginny had a huge crush on Harry in the 2nd book. She even sent him a valentine song, making Harry feel extremely embarassed, especially the when the song was delivered in front of malfoy. I remembered that when Harry was staying at the burrow, Ginny became overly awkward(is this how you spell) in the presence of Harry and without knowing it, accidentally put her elbow into the butter dish. Unfortunately for her though, everybody but Harry did not notice this.

Ginny slowly dared to talk and act normal around Harry, under the advice of Hermione. It was so sweet when Harry and Ginny started to become a couple. However if only Harry could realise his feelings for Ginny years earlier so that he and Ginny could have more time together instead of having to break up after just a few weeks of togetherness( read the Prince for the explanation).

Also, Ginny performs extremely awesome bat-bogey hexes. When someone pisses her off(she is quite a feisty redhead), her brother would make the comment," You've never been on the receiving end of her hexes, have you?" That, i think, is so funny.

detailed analysis of Ron and hermione

Ron's biodata
Ron, the happy-go-lucky sidekick of harry, is a very funny guy, often saying and doing things that make people laugh. One of my favourite quotes of him is this," Percy won't regconise a joke if it danced naked infront of him wearing dobby's tea-cosy." That is such hilarious translation of Percy's serious attitude.

Physical appearance
Ron, typical of the weasleys, have bright red coppery hair and specks of freckles across their faces. In addition to these, Ron is also gangly looking. In the harry potter movies, the actor playing Ron have blond instead of red hair, so his hair has to be dyed. However, in some parts of the scenes, his hair was not dyed well enough, making people not to have a kind of feeling to immerse completely into the movie. Well, you can't blame them though, Rowling's ron and Columbus'(alhough now the director has been changed) have two different hair colours. Readers would of course not want to see any of the details go ignored.

His love life
In the first book, before harry and ron "officially" made frens with hermoine, ron had said sth to make her real upset, enough to go running to the female toilet and stay there crying for the whole lunch break. ( Ron had criticised hermoine for her know-all-must-answer-all attitude) From a near-enemies relationship to a friend-based relationhip and then finally (what i think rowling is going to write) a sweet-loving one, that is what i call DRASTIC. Well, i highly stand for them being a couple, after all those petty revenges on each other by going out and slogging with other people just to make each other jealous. Even though the whole stupid thing was started by Ron, Hermione did correct by doing all that back-stabbing stuff. Who asks Ron to be so insensitive anyway? However, after all these trials and tribulations, i believe that they are definitely most suited for each other.

OH yah, did i say that ron and hermione are eally the bestest friends on earth? When Harry said that he needed to hunt down the rest of voldemort's horcruxes, they immediately insisted on coming along with him. What kind of friends would give up their studies and their comforts to go along with a guy who seems to be too feverish about his revenge? Wah, i am damned touched by their act... It was a good thing Ron decided to sit in Harry's compartment during their first ride to Hogwarts, true friendship starts like this, without any preparations for it to come. Good thing too for the weasleys. It was due to Harry that Mr Arthur weasley, Ron and Ginny got rescued. Mr weasley from the lethal bites voldemort's snake nagini inflicted upon him, Ron from the poison which he accidentally drank due to malfoy's evil plots to kill dumbledore and ginny from the chamber of secrets. And the weasley's twins, Fred and George also owned it to Harry that they get to open their successful joke shop called "Weasleys' wizarding wheeze".

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Summary

My thoughts and comments
For those of you who are too anxious to know exactly what had happened to the main characters of rowling's sixth book but are also too lazy to read the entire 607 pg book, you've stepped on some good luck by visiting my blog... or perhaps you've just stumbled upon here, not that i care...

The PRINCE has much fewer pages than the ORDER, however that does not make it less appealing though. Much changes were founded along the way- new relationships began to take place, voldemort's past began to unfold and also you can expect a death of an important person in all of harry's adventures...

Personally i think that the PRINCE was written so as to introduce the readers to what was going to take place in the 7th book. There was an insight to why voldemort still remained so-called "immortal" after all his encounters with people who tried to kill him (mostly dumbledore and harry) . The secret lies in a terrible method which no wizard has ever dared to try more than once... and that is the HORCRUXES. Now you must be wondering what kind of new monster is that. Well, that is a method to separate (well i was about to use "rip") a person's soul to more than one part. NO wizard has ever gone further than separating their souls into two parts. You can imagine the severity and grostic consequences of this soul-dividing technique. Voldemort, to fulfil his dream of becoming immortal, did all he could to achieve immortality. However before voldemrt could create a horcrux, he is needed to kill people, tons and tons of people. For a cold-blooded murderer like him, i guess that could be no problem for him at all.

Voldemort created 6 HORCRUXES and the remaining 1 was in his newly restored body. That explains the change in his physical appearance from a handsome boy ( he got his looks from his muggle father ) to a half-human with slitlike pupils and bloodstained eyes and pale deathly looking skin. In short, in order to pursue his immortality dream, he has traded his good looks, all his years of learning and also his last remaining conscience that he still has.

The end of the PRINCE marks the death of harry's last remaining protector, and that is DUMBLEDORE. Readers would sigh at the incredulity of all-how could Dumbledore, the greatest wizard of all times, die? Surely he would be revived by members of the order or a kind of mysterious magic? Sad to say, Rowling does have a thing for making kind people die. However, all these deaths (Sirius and dumbledore) have caused the story to make an unexpected turn. The storyline will become darker, more unpredictable, leaving fans with more anticipation.

This time, Harry did not find any ways of reviving Dumbledore, nor did he try to speak to him again. He just accepted his death and tried very hard to take it in his stride. However, Harry, full of love and respect for his headmaster, still felt an implaccable loss. Forced to face the fight that he has been avoiding for fifteen years, Harry understood that no one would stand between him and voldemort again, no one else would be there to sacrifice their lives for him ever again. The truth always hurts but it may be a blessing in disguise... this means that the constant fear and waiting- waiting for what voldemort would do next- would finally end in the never-to-be-forotten battle between the Chosen One and the Dark Lord...

What i think will take place in the last of harry's book...
There is a hint that harry would not be attending his seventh year of schol at Hogwarts. With a mission on hand, how can he still concentrate his studies after all that has happened? Hogwarts may also close due to the murder of a headmaster by a fellow teacher on the same school, even if the school remained open, families of students would want their children to be safe. Despite all the ancient spells and wise wizards presnt in Hogwarts, there would still be an uncertainty concerning the safety of Hogwarts students.

Harry would definitely set off to find the remaining of voldemort's horcuxes, there are 4 of them remaining now. 3 had been destroyed, 1 was riddle's diary in the Chamber of Secrets, the other was a ring which dumbledore destroyed and the last of all was destroyed by a mysteriuos person who called himself R.A.B. Whoever he was, that is for harry to find out.

Praise to the author...
I sometimes marvel at the powerful imagination of Rowling. It seems that there is nothing that she couldn't dream of, couldn't come up with. There is no way to speculate what she was about to come up with. Her storyline would not fail to catch you off-guard and i truly am envious of her obvious talent in writing and creating stories with storylines that would hold us all spellbound, just like a body-freezing spell.
