Abraham had no children at all. He was very old, over a century old. His wife Sarah, had a womb that was dead. They wanted children very much but theoretically speaking, they can't possibly have children at all. That is like mission impossible. However, God knows that Abraham is faithful. He promises him that he will have abundant children , even children as many as nations. Abraham did not think that God is having him on at all. He didn't doubt God, even for a milli-second. Instead his faith in Him is strenthened. By this unwavering faith in God, Abraham's faith is being justified and his rignhteousness is credited. And what happens in the end? God honours the promises the promises that he make, always. Abraham had so many children the people are shocked and their eyes popped out. Hahaha.
Romans 4: 24
God will credit righteouness - for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
What the bible say is true. It is the word of God, directly from the ultra amazing, fantastic, marvellous and fabulous GOD! Got it? Haven't? Ok i shall repeat again. The bible is the absolute truth and even now, can be applied to our every day lives! That is way cooler than Mount Everest. Wisdom is within each turn of the page. View it not as a best-selling book but as the Word of GOD. Nothing in context has ever been changed since the really far far away ancient times till today. God never changes. He is a constant. The bible is an essential need (it's need, not want, or something unneccessary). Cross over from the depth of sins towards the light of all righteouness, with who else but God and Christ Jesus, our King and saviour.
Haha, i'm like promoting a product to urge people to buy. Well, you can don't buy what I say but let me tell you something even more enticing. My 'product' is free. Indeed, it takes no material cost to follow God! You can't even bring your money with you after you die. God don't care how much you are worth in the human context but he sure looks at your heart and the amount of faith you have in Him. You can be an extremely poor but godly person. God will promise you more things and eternal life than the one who has so many ipods, nike products and ferraris but has no faith at all whatsoever. Think about it.
